Terms and
Conditions of Boarding:
If any pet
shows signs of disease or illness we will reserve the right
not to accept your pet for boarding. Any medical conditions must be discussed with us prior to boarding.
Whilst your pet rabbit or rodent is in our care it will be fed a
variety of fresh food and its own dried food. We will provide your rabbits with
top quality farm hay.
Pets will not mix with other boarders & will be stroked,
groomed and checked regularly.
If you have bonded pets staying with us and we need to separate them
due to fighting, you will be required to pay the extra fees.
Currently there are no vaccination requirements for rabbits, guinea
pigs and rodents, we will therefore not be held responsible for any
illnesses such as (but not limited to) Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic
Disease, Fly strike, Mites or any other diseases.
We carry out frequent bottom checks
and ensure that all rabbits are kept clean however we will not be held
liable in the unfortunate event that your rabbit becomes a victim of
flystrike. During
the summer months (April through to September) we require that
all rabbit owners have their rabbits treated with Fly Guard (or similar
product) to prevent flystrike. We can apply this spray for you at
cost, see our "prices" page.
Should your pet
become ill whilst boarding with us, we will
seek advice from our local vet at a cost to you, any veterinary fees
which occur will be payable by you on your return.
In the unlikely event of a death occurring whilst your pet is boarding
with us, we will notify you as soon as possible so that we can arrange
for your final wishes.
There are currently no licensing laws or regulations which exist in
respect of boarding small animals.
We accept no liability in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill
or passes away whilst boarding with us. All pets are left entirely at
their owner’s risk.
